On the other hand, the bronze medal was won by the Austrians Jonas Miller and Dorothea Schwartz, who lost to the winners by 0.376 seconds.
The leading Latvian team was Kristers Aparjods and Elīna Ieva Bota, who took eighth place, finishing 0.987 seconds slower than the winners. The other Latvian team consisted of Gints Bērziņš and Kendija Aparjode. They were 1.772 seconds behind the winners and finished the race in 10th place.
A total of 20 teams participated in the competition, but the Chinese and Romanian duos could not pass the baton successfully and remained without a result.
