Laso to Anadolu Efes: Schmidt’s Deal Close?

The Istanbul club appointed the 52-year-old Slovenian coach Rado Trifunovic as the temporary head coach.

The Turkish club and the two-time Euroleague winner are negotiating, but no agreement has yet been reached, Eurohoops.net reports.

The 58-year-old Lasso has previously managed Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Baskonia Vitoria in the Euroleague, winning the Euroleague with Real in 2015 and 2018.

If the Istanbul team does not reach an agreement with Laso, other candidacies will be considered.

In the Euroleague, “Anadolu Efes” ranks 17th among 20 teams with five wins in 14 matches, but in the Turkish championship with six wins in ten matches, they are fourth.
