Uzbekistan’s Tashkent is hosting a gala evening today, during which the champions of the most important series of the International Automobile Federation will be awarded.
The motorsport elite will gather in the capital of Uzbekistan tonight. At the traditional FIA gala evening, the trophies will be received by the newly crowned champions of this season – from world rally champion Sébastien Ogier to the winner of Formula E to the trio of the most successful Formula 1 drivers led by Lando Norris.
In addition to him, his teammate and the third man in the World Championship, Oscar Piastri, and the McLaren team, which won the Constructors’ Cup for the second time in a row, will also be honored on the podium. World vice-champion Max Verstappen will not attend the ceremony, according to the De Telegraaf newspaper, as he was supposed to be sidelined by the flu in the last few days.
