Lyon announced on Monday that it had permanently transferred its full-back Saël Kumbedi for six million euros to the German club Wolfsburg, where he had been on loan since this summer and which exercised the purchase option. Arriving in 2023 from Le Havre, where he was trained, Kumbedi, an under-21 international, played 62 matches with Olympique Lyonnais, in all competitions (5 assists). With Wolfsburg, he participated in ten matches including nine in the Bundesliga and gave four assists.
