The “FamilyMart Cup 80th Mainichi Koshien Bowl”, in which Kwansei Gakuin University and Ritsumeikan University compete to become the best American football university in Japan, will be held at Hanshin Koshien Stadium (Hyogo Prefecture) on Sunday, December 14th.
The 80th tournament marked the first time in history that the powerhouses of the Kansai region competed against each other. Former Takarazuka Revue Snow Troupe top star Sakina Ayakaze will sing the national anthem solo. Ayakaze became the top star of the Yukigumi in 2021. Until his retirement in 2014, he played an active role in many works such as “CITY HUNTER” and “Skyu no Subaru”. Pay attention to Ayakaze’s tense solo performance of the national anthem.

It has also been officially decided that they will participate in the Rose Parade to be held in Pasadena, California, USA on January 1, 2026. The brilliant dance performances that captivate the world are sure to excite the audience.

Enlivening the venue just before kickoff are the Mukogawa Women’s University Junior and Senior High School Baton Twirling Club, which will be appearing in the Koshien Bowl for the 16th time, and the Doshisha Kori Junior High School Dance Club, which placed 4th in the 18th Japan High School Dance Club Championship National Finals and competed in the 13th National High School Dance Club Championship National Finals. Both schools put on exciting performances.
