Knicks Win: Towns & Brunson Lead the Way

Beautiful night in the NBA! If Victor Wembanyama and Giannis Antetokounmpo stood out, this is also the case for the pair of the New York Knicks, Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson, against the Atlanta Hawks.

The results of the night

  • Kings – Mavericks : 113-107 (stats)
  • Magic – Nuggets : 127-126 (stats)
  • Pelicans – Suns : 114-123 (stats)
  • Hawks – Knicks : 125-128 (stats)
  • Heat – Pacers : 142-116 (stats)
  • Bulls – Bucks : 103-112 (stats)
  • Rockets – Cavaliers : 117-100 (stats)
  • Wolves – Nets : 107-123 (stats)
  • Spurs – Jazz : 114-127 (stats)

What to remember

  • Great controlled success for the Kings against the Mavericks with two ingredients that have worked since the start of the season. A vintage Russell Westbrook (21 points and 9 assists) as well as an inspired Maxime Raynaud (19 points and 6 rebounds). Unlikely duo, but fun.
  • Crazy match between the Orlando Magic of a supercharged Anthony Black (38 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists) and a brawling Denver Nuggets behind Nikola Jokic (34 points, 21 rebounds and 12 assists). Victory for Jamahl Mosley’s men after a shot to win missed by Jamal Murray.
  • Great victory for the Suns, much more solid in money time than the Pelicans. Collin Gillepsie started his team and Devin Booker accelerated in the second half (20 points).
  • Karl-Anthony Towns (36 points and 15 rebounds) and Jalen Brunson (34 points and crazy money-time) disgusted the Hawks despite a huge Onyeka Okongwu.
  • The Heat rolled over the Pacers who completely rocked the last quarter. Quality tanking.
  • Close match throughout between the Bucks and the Bulls, but the very good return of Giannis Antetokounmpo made the difference. 29 points and 24 minutes… that calms down.
  • The score is nice for the Cavaliers as they were blown away by the Rockets for three quarters. Kevin Durant (30 points) had a blast.
  • Shameful defeat of the Timberwolves, at home against the Nets. Cam Thomas (30 points in 20 minutes coming off the bench) dynamited the opposing defense, helped by Michael Porter Jr. Brooklyn has a string of victories.
  • The Jazz shot very well and won against a weak Spurs defense. However, Victor Wembanyama, back in the 5 major, showed up with 32 points in 27 minutes.
