The New York Knicks kicked off the traditional NBA Christmas Day with a 126-124 success against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday after a closely contested match.

The two teams took turns dominating, with Cleveland taking a 17-point lead at the start of the 4th quarter, before collapsing.

Jalen Brunson delighted Madison Square Garden, one of the hottest venues in the league, with 34 points, the Knicks returning to the match thanks in particular to their second knives Jordan Clarkson (25 pts) and Tyler Kolek (16 pts).
