Johannes Høsflot Klæbo is selling the cabin at Skeikampen. He reports this himself on Instagram on Christmas Eve.

– It is with a heavy heart that we are now selling the cabin on our favorite spot, writes the cross-country star in an Instagram story.

He has also posted a picture of the ski slopes in the area and himself in full ski gear outside the cabin.

“The definition of ski in/ski out”, writes Klæbo.

The cabin is Klæbo’s first and was completed in the spring of 2020. It has a usable area of 130 square metres, a plot of over two meters and is outside with a suggested price of NOK 7,250,000.

The sale of the cabin comes as no surprise as Klæbo and his fiancée Pernille Døsvik are in the final stages of building their new dream cabin in the same area at Skeikampen.

– It is no secret that this cabin would be for sale, so we have had some inquiries in advance. So we’ll see now at Christmas, says estate agent Ole Rosten to TV 2.

– It is a popular area with a short distance to Oslo. It is snow-sure and, like the rest of the mountain area in Norway now, is also interesting for the foreign market, Rosten explains.

The new mountain paradise will be almost 400 square meters and will include, among other things, a fitness room, a wine room and a sauna with an ice bath, according to Aftenposten.

The new cabin is scheduled to be ready after the Olympics in February 2026.

– Skeikampen is a perfect place for training and relaxation for me, Høsflot Klæbo has previously stated.
