MINSK – Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is a lover of hockey and likes to play it, but now he experienced a really tough moment during the match in Minsk.

An unwanted collision with his own teammate sent him straight to the ice. Former KHL player Jaroslav Čupris did not notice him and there was a collision, but he immediately came to apologize and help him up.

“Except for the stretched muscles, I feel good,” said the 71-year-old Lukashenko after the match. Lukashenko’s presidential team drew 5:5 against Brest, while Lukashenko’s third son Nikolay should have equalized just before the end.
