Contested on Wednesday December 17, 2025 in Ploemeur, the Brittany Ugsel (General Sports Union of Free Education) badminton championship was a success for the delegation from the Kerbertrand high school in Quimperlé. Of the seven players entered, four brilliantly qualified for the French championship, which will be held in March in Chartres.
Among the winners, we find Noah Chardon, qualified in junior elite, as well as Titouan Veillot and Louis Rohou, who played a 100% Kerbertrand final, in singles elite cadet. The nice surprise came from tennis player Elvina Le Fouler who won in junior promotion.
“These four players are now qualified for the next stage. As for the Kerbertrand high school team, which had already finished third last year at the national level, the objective is to qualify again in 2026 for the French championship. The team phase, scheduled for January-February, will determine whether this great adventure continues,” underlines Quentin Tuaillon, the coach of these young people accompanied by the Kemperle badminton club also represented by Jacky Hamoniaux and Malvy Pelleter.
