According to reports, The quarterback underwent surgery Monday to repair a torn cruciate ligament. and will begin rehabilitation immediately and as progress is made, an outlook for his return for next season will be revealed.

This is the first time Mahomes will not play in a playoff game since he was drafted in 2017.; while Travis Kelce will not be in the postseason for the second time, the previous time being in the 2014 playoffs.
