Chess legend Garry Kasparov, a staunch opponent of Vladimir Putin, is once again the subject of an arrest warrant issued by Russia for advocating terrorism.
«Putin’s goal is the liquidation of NATO and the European Union.” A few weeks ago, during an exclusive interview with Le Figaro, the former world chess champion, opponent of Vladimir Putin, issued a severe warning to Europe about the intentions of the master of the Kremlin. Since then, Garry Kasparov has been the subject of an arrest warrant issued Monday by a Moscow court for “public appeals and the justification of terrorism”according to the Russian agency TASS.

Today holder of Croatian nationality, Garry Kasparov, considered a “foreign agent” by Moscow and registered on the register of terrorists and extremists for his political activity, always replied on X: “Again ? Opposing a terrorist state is necessarily terrorism.” In 2024, he had already been targeted with an arrest warrant for similar reasons.
