Kalenda with pushers Mairi Kļava, Arni Bebriš and Matīsa Mikni was in 16th place after the first race, but the third best time achieved in the second race allowed them to move up to a shared tenth place in the overall standings, 0.71 seconds behind the winner.

On the other hand, Grantiņš with pushers Edgars Ungurus, as well as Dāvi and Lauri Kaufmani reached the seventh best time in the first race, but the 20th place in the second race caused him to fall to the 12th position in the sum of both races. Grantina’s foursome lost to Lochner by 0.78 seconds.

Lohner is the leader in the overall World Cup standings after four four-person crew competitions with 885 points, ahead of Friedrich by 40 points. Kalenda is in 15th place with 440 points, while Grantiņš is one position lower with 378 points.
