The aims of Tether, the stablecoin platform born in 2014 from an idea by Giancarlo Devasini and Paolo Ardoino. The company, which already holds 11.5% of the black and white team, has put an offer of 1.1 billion on the table
After a skid at the start, the actions of Juventus show a burning rise of 4.69%. The titles of the Juventus club they started running again on Tuesday, change hands above 2.7 euros, with an increase that adds to that of over 18% the day before. The spotlight is on the football club that has entered Tether’s sights, the stablecoin platform born in 2014 from an idea by Giancarlo Devasini and Paolo Ardoino. The company, which already holds 11.5% of the Juventus team, has put on the table an offer of 1.1 billion (i.e. 2.66 euros per share), which however has already been returned to the sender by the parent company Exor. Evidently, however, speculation is affecting prices, which exceed the price of the potential offer. In short, at least for the market, the Exor-Tether match for the control of Juventus would be far from over, with the possibility of further developments.
Elkann’s video
The president, John Elkann, also released a video to underline that Juventus, owned by the Agnelli family for 102 years, is not for sale. However, the stock market is betting that Tether will enter the field again and present a much more attractive offerto which perhaps the Agnelli family will not be able to say no. Proof of this is that the price per share on the stock exchange, 2.71 euros, today went above the 2.66 euros offered by Tether to Exor.
