Next weekend, 13 and 14 Decemberil PalaPellicone of Ostia Lido will host the finals of Italian Serie A1 Championshipsthe highest national event for the categories Overall (black belts) e Under15which will see the best judokas in Italy take to the tatami. To represent it Judo Club Ventimiglia they will be Maruska Iamundo e Riccardo Daltoèfollowed on the tatami by the coach Antonella Iannucci. Both athletes gained access to the finals thanks to their position in the National Ranking List.
Maruska Iamundo, a highly experienced athlete, will compete in the category -57 kg ai Italian Overall Championships. Last June he obtained a prestigious bronze at the Senior A1 Italian Cup Finalconfirming herself among the reference athletes on the national scene. Great anticipation too Riccardo Daltoèengaged in the category +81 kg ai Italian Beginners Championships (Under15). The young judoka had an extraordinary 2025, winning the title of regional champion and getting on the podium in three stages of the national circuit Italian Trophy: gold in Piedmont e bronze in Veneto and Emilia-Romagna.

They have earned on the field the right to participate in these Italian Serie A1 Championships where they will compete with the best judokas in Italy.
