Judo Bassin Aveyron once again demonstrated the quality of its work and its supervision during the Departmental Mini Cup, contested on December 14, in Saint-Geniez-d’Olt. Remarkable fact: all the judokas involved left with a medal, confirming the solidity of the sporting project and the team spirit which drives the group.
This performance allows all the juniors to be qualified for the northern Occitanie zone, scheduled for January 24 in Réalmont, where they will proudly represent Aveyron against the judokas from Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne and Lot. Only the first four will then advance to the regional level, in Toulouse.
On an individual level, Clara Rotillon, Jayson Delagnes and Nolan Kazma won the title of Aveyron champions. Enzo Cassagnes also distinguished himself by becoming vice-champion, while Jade Chastel completed the list with a beautiful bronze medal. The Viviezois club can also welcome the involvement of its young officials. Mila Rivière and Timéo Géraud, referee and sports commissioner, officiated with seriousness and competence, validating the UV4, an essential step towards obtaining the 1st dan black belt, already acquired by Thierry Morant on this module.
The encouraging results obtained among the chicks and youngest chicks during this long trip confirm the positive dynamic at all levels of practice. In chicks, gold for Aydan Szekely, Garance Cantournet, Hélèna Markovic. Money for Abbygaëlle Zanella, Timéo Dalmon. And the bronze around the neck of Faustine Arières.
In the junior category, Nathan Canet, Arya Bos and Mélia Thorel won gold. Maëlle Chastel and Imad Benabed took bronze. Titouan Billy finished 5th. A final ranking among the youngest will soon make it possible to designate the champions of Aveyron, called to participate in the northern Occitanie zone, on March 29, in Cahors.
