The couple Jasmin and Robert from Bromma got their happiest surprise on Tuesday morning when they won five million kroner on Triss in TV4 Nyhetsmorgon. Now they are planning a wedding as well as a honeymoon – and also some new instruments.
Robert took the opportunity to buy a Trisslott home for the family in connection with a combined run and grocery shopping for a weekend earlier last fall. When the family gathered, they scratched the lottery ticket which suddenly showed three television screens.
– It felt a bit surreal, we didn’t really understand if it was true at first. There are so many coincidences that led me to buy that particular lottery ticket, says Robert.
On Tuesday morning, the couple visited TV4 Nyhetsmorgon to find out what the win would be. It was Jasmin who had the honor of scratching their selected ticket number 12 – which showed the highest prize of five million kroner.
– It feels very good! And unreal! says Jasmin in shock of joy after the scratch.
Robert continues:
– It feels absolutely incredible! We have been so set on SEK 100,000, so it is not really possible to grasp. It’s absolutely crazy that it was the highest win.
The couple had already planned to get married in the spring before the win. Now, after scraping together five million kroner, they will go on a honeymoon to Costa Rica and Panama to experience the countries’ rich wildlife. As a music-loving family, they also plan to buy some new instruments. But first, the win must be celebrated with loved ones.
– You can never have too many guitars. Then there might be something more now that the profit was so high, but we haven’t thought about that yet. First we get to invite the whole family and relatives to a Triss celebration this weekend, says Robert happily.
