Jaguars: Jakobi Meyers gets 3 years and 60 million more
Arriving from the Raiders in a transfer during the season, Jakobi Meyers (WR) will stay well for the long term with the Jaguars.
ESPN announces that the receiver signed a 3-year, $60 million contract extension, of which $40 million would be guaranteed.
Meyers was in the final year of his contract. This signing therefore allows him to be linked to Jacksonville until the end of the 2028 season.
The 29-year-old quickly found his place in Florida. In six games alongside Trevor Lawrence, he caught 27 balls for 355 yards and 3 touchdowns. Since his arrival, the Jaguars have had a record of five wins and just one loss. Above all, their average points scored has increased from 20.4 to 31.8 points per game since he joined the attack!
Colts: Anthony Richardson returns to training
If the arrival of Philip Rivers in Indianapolis has been the event of recent weeks, the Colts still have a young quarterback in their squad. And on Thursday, Anthony Richardson returned to training.
Victim of an accident during warm-up which fractured his orbital floor, the 23-year-old player is still limited by his injury. But Shane Steichen explained to the press that he is going to start throwing balls again. The coach clarified that Richardson will not be active for his team’s next match. The Colts have 21 days to choose to activate him. Enough to give him some playing time at the end of the year if Indianapolis ends up being eliminated?
The Bears without Rome Odunze and Luther Burden against the Packers
Caleb Williams will be deprived of a few targets to face Green Bay. Rome Odunze (WR, foot) and Luther Burden (WR, ankle) are already officially out of this week’s NFC North clash. Both receivers missed the last two practices.
For Odunze, this is starting to become a habit, since this will be his third missed match in a row.
Williams will therefore have to rely on DJ Moore, Devin Duvernay, Olamide Zaccheaus and Jahdae Walker.

Packers: Josh Jacobs uncertain, Christian Watson on the right path
Green Bay could be deprived of its best runner in the clash against the Bears. Josh Jacobs (RB) is officially doubtful for this match due to knee pain. He hasn’t trained all week. Matt LaFleur talked about a game-time decision.
Things are more encouraging for Christian Watson (WR). He practiced Wednesday and Thursday and told ESPN he is expected to play.
It doesn’t look good for DaRon Bland (Cowboys)
Absent from training this week, DaRon Bland (CB) may not see the field again this year. ESPN reports that he has a serious foot injury, and that surgery may be necessary.
And even if he managed to escape the operating room thanks to a second opinion, he would have to be placed on the injured list, which would end his season.
Last season, it was already a foot injury which deprived him of 10 matches and required an operation.
Bengals : Shemar Stewart revient
Continuation of a turbulent first season for Shemar Stewart. Victim of a torn posterior cruciate knee ligament in Week 9, the rookie pass rusher will make his return to the field this Sunday against the Dolphins, according to ESPN.
Between an ankle injury at the start of the year and then this knee problem, Stewart has only played five games this year. He has yet to make a single sack.
