Ivory Coast CAN 2025 Squad: Zaha In, Pépé Out

The champion puts his title back on the line. Victorious in the last edition, organized at home, Côte d’Ivoire hopes to do the double at the end of the 2025 African Cup of Nations. Well established in the position of coach since the title, Émerse Faé revealed this Tuesday the list of players he will take to Morocco to compete in the competition.

The surprise lies in attack for the Elephants with the call-up of Wilfried Zaha, absent for 2 years in the selection. The former Lyonnais, now at Charlotte FC, was called up alongside Amad Diallo, Yan Diomandé and Sébastien Haller in attack. Conversely, Nicolas Pépé and Simon Adingra, although indisputable on the list, are absent. Wilfried Singo, injured in a thigh with Galatasaray, will not be traveling either.
