Malawian striker dies aged 43

Former striker of Rostov, Moscow Lokomotiv and the Malawi national team Iso Kanyenda died at the age of 44. About this reported in the Rostov telegram channel.
The cause of his death has not been specified.
“Iso was one of the favorites of Rostov fans in the 2000s, played more than a hundred matches for our club and until the very end tried to keep in touch with his former Rostov teammates. We express our deepest condolences to Iso’s family and friends,” the statement said.
Kanenda played for Rostov in 2003–2005, 2006–2007, becoming a bronze medalist at the 2005 Russian Championship. In Russia, he also played for Lokomotiv (only three matches in the RPL), KAMAZ, Rotor and Dynamo Bryansk.
Kanyenda played 60 matches for the Malawi national team and scored 19 goals.
He ended his career in 2017.
