Indonesia SEA Games Gold Medals: 60 & Counting!

Chess and shooting again contributed gold medals to Indonesia. The arrival of this piece means that the Red and White team has now collected 60 gold medals SEA Games 2025.

Competing at The Bazaar Hotel, Bangkok, the Indonesian women’s team chess team underwent the Team Chees Women Rapid final match against the Vietnamese team on Tuesday (16/12/2025).

As a result, the athletes consisting of Medina Warda Aulia, Chelsie Monica Ignesias Sihite, Irine Kharisma Sukandar, Dewi Ardhiani Anastasia Citra, and Laysa Latifah were superior with a score of 2.5.

Meanwhile the opposing team had to be satisfied with a score of 1.5. Thus, the Indonesian women’s team team successfully won the gold medal, while Vietnam won the silver medal.

Apart from chess, the shooting branch also gave its best performance through Fany Febriana Wulandari in the women’s individual trap event.
This success increases Indonesia’s gold medal pool to 60 gold medals currently. The Red and White contingent is also getting closer to the target set by the government, namely 80 gold medals.

Apart from gold medals, other sports also present silver and bronze medals through pencak silat and bicycle racing.

Muhammad Syelhan was second best in the Men’s Individual Road Race event, while Igi Rangga Barani finished third on the podium in the Men’s Class G (75-80kg) pencak silat event.

As well as sepak takraw also contributed a silver medal through the Mixed Quadrant performance.
