Prosecco DOC Imoco Conegliano finishes the group undefeated and flies to the semi-finals after beating one of the two Brazilian teams, Dentil Praia supported by the home team. On Saturday the semi-final against the second team from the other group.
THE NEWS
The third and final match of the group takes place at the Mercado Livre Arena in Sao Paulo against the expert Dentil Praia ClubeBrazilian formation. It is the last match of the pool, with two victories in as many matches the Panthers have already obtained the pass to the semi-final of the Club World Cup on Saturday and tonight they will play for first place with the Cariocas. For the fourth time in the intercontinental event the confrontation between Conegliano and Praia is repeated, coach Santarelli’s team has always had the upper hand.
Prosecco DOC beat Orlando Valkyries and Zamalek Sporting Club in the previous group matches. After yesterday’s turnover, the Gialloblù staff returns to the sextet with captain Wolosz as setter and Haak as opposite, spikers Zhu and Gabi, always idolized by the home crowd, Chirichella and Lubian as central defenders, Moki De Gennaro libero.
