Suara.com – Persib Bandung successfully secured full points in the home match of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League competition, after defeating Borneo FC at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium, Bandung City, Friday (5/12/2025).
In the follow-up match to the BRI Super League 2025/2026 competition, Persib managed to win with a score of 3-1.
The Maung Bandung squad was left behind by Joel Vinicius’ goal in the 18th minute. However, Persib was able to recover and score three goals through Ramon “Tanque” De Andrade Souza in the 40th minute, Federico Barba in the 50th minute, and Saddil Ramdani in the 90+6 minute.
After the match, Persib coach, Bojan Hodak, said that his team appeared surprising by controlling the game and creating many opportunities.
However, Bojan Hodak also believes that the home match in the 2025/2026 BRI Super League competition will not be easy for the Maung Bandung squad.
“I said before that this will be a difficult match. I have to be honest, surprisingly we played very well and we dominated throughout the match,” said Bojan Hodak.
“In fact, I think the score 3-1 is good for them (Borneo FC) because in the first half we had lots of chances,” he added.
On this occasion, the coach from Croatia appreciated the performance of his team, both those who appeared as starters and those who came on as substitutes.
According to him, all the players who had the opportunity to play in this match were able to carry out their duties well.

“Overall, all the players played well from the start, as did the players who came off the bench,” he said.
Apart from that, the coach who brought Persib back to back to champions in the League 1 competition praised the performance of two young players, namely Fitrah Maulana and Nazriel Alfaro.
Fitrah, who plays as a goalkeeper, appeared as a starter and the match against Borneo FC was his debut with the Maung Bandung squad in the 2025/2026 BRI Super League competition.
Meanwhile, Nazriel Alfaro, in that match appeared as a substitute in injury time to replace Luciano Guaycochea.
Even though he only appeared for a few minutes, Nazriel Alfaro was able to respond well to the trust he had given him.
“Young players like Fitrah and Nazriel played extraordinary, so I feel quite satisfied,” emphasized Bojan Hodak.
