This season, the team has added seven new players to the team, increasing its strength and winning the All Japan Adult Basketball Prefectural Qualifier held in October for the first time in 10 years, qualifying for the Kyushu Tournament.

The team is led by 13-year veteran player and coach Genta Ohno.
Although he was unable to participate in the prefectural preliminaries due to injury, he gave accurate advice to his juniors.

Q: How do you lead your team?
“As I’m the oldest, I want to give advice as a working adult and teach all the knowledge I have about basketball to my juniors.”

The captain is Taisei Harada, who is in his fourth year with the club.
Even in difficult games, he made 3-point shots many times to save his team from trouble.

(Captain Taisei Harada)

Q・Goal・Enthusiasm
“(At the Kyushu Tournament), we want to take advantage of Hinode’s fast-paced basketball style and make it to the top with a must-win game.”

Hoshin Asami, a promising rookie and center player.

“At the Kyushu tournament, I want to be the mainstay of the team, right in the middle, and dominate the game, and since I’m from Hokkaido, this will be my debut game in Kyushu, so I want to make an impact on the people of Kyushu and say, “What’s that guy?”
