Ajax is eagerly looking for a new left back and such VI already reportedthe club had reported to Burnley for Hartman. The 24-year-old left back has been left out of the Premier League promotion team in recent weeks, but is aiming for playing time to remain in the spotlight of Ronald Koeman, who can give him a place in the Dutch selection for the World Cup next summer.
In any case, Hartman will not get that playing time at Ajax. The defender has a very rich past at Feyenoord, the arch rival. Partly because of this, Hartman would rather make minutes elsewhere than in the Johan Cruijff Arena. The born Zwijndrechter is therefore looking at other options.
