Top players, but also clubs from home and abroad, provide an insight into the ins and outs of the football world (almost) every day via Instagram, X or other internet channels. In this edition of VZ Social attention to Quilindschy Hartman, who is associated with a spicy transfer to Ajax.

Fabrizio Romano announced on Sunday morning that the Amsterdam team had inquired about Hartman’s services at Burnley. Ajax is eagerly looking for a new left back and has made Hartman a top target.

The former Feyenoord player played everything for Burnley in the first half of the season, until he was suddenly left out of the selection for the last two games. There was immediate speculation about internal tensions.

Due to his past at Feyenoord and his good start in the Premier League, it seems unlikely that Hartman is interested in a return to the Eredivisie at Ajax. That feeling is underlined by previous statements by Hartman, which have resurfaced after the transfer rumors.

In an earlier Q&A on his own Instagram page, he said that the hatred towards Ajax is ‘great’. He was also asked whether he would go to Ajax if an offer ever came. “Not for anything,” was his response.
