Şanlıurfa, 22 December (Hibya)-Basketball and volleyball courses organized by Haliliye Municipality within the scope of winter sports schools attract attention from children in the 7-14 age group.
Basketball and volleyball courses are organized at Sabiha Özlek Sports Hall under the coordination of Haliliye Municipality Culture, Art and Social Affairs Directorate Sports Unit. The aim is to direct children to sports with the courses held within the scope of winter sports schools.
In the trainings carried out under the supervision of expert trainers, children in the 7-14 age group are taught basic techniques in basketball and volleyball branches. Through the courses, it is aimed for students to acquire sports habits as well as skills such as teamwork and discipline.
Haliliye Municipality stated that, within the scope of winter sports schools, courses in taekwondo, football, folk dances and judo branches, as well as basketball and volleyball, are continuing and registrations are continuing.
