Favorites at the Four Hills Tournament 2025/26

Actually, last year’s winner automatically belongs on the favorites list. Not so with the Four Hills Tournament: Only Janne Ahonen (2005/06), Gregor Schlierenzauer (2012/13) and Kamil Stoch (2017/18) have won the tournament twice in a row in the past 35 years.

Tschofenig celebrated a victory this winter, but as of shortly before the Four Hills Tournament he is not in the top five in the overall World Cup. Instead, Domen Prevc (Slovenia) won five competitions in a row – two victories each in Wisla and Klingenthal and one in Engelberg. The Japanese Kobayashi, who has found his ease again this season (three wins, one second place), prevented the sixth victory in a row. Prevc’s compatriot Anze Lanisek has also been on the podium four times. Old master Stefan Kraft, tour winner in 2014/15, missed two World Cup stages due to the birth of his daughter at the beginning of December and did not continue his strong performances in Engelberg (14th and 19th).

German hopes on the tour

Philipp Raimund, winner of the Summer Grand Prix, is the most stable this winter. With three third places and one second place, he is in fourth place in the overall World Cup. In Engelberg he narrowly missed the podium twice, finishing fourth. Well-known names like Karl Geiger and Andreas Wellinger are currently struggling to qualify for the first round. Pius Paschke jumps solidly between places 5 and 15 this winter. Felix Hoffmann could be a big surprise. At the last competition before the Four Hills Tournament he came second and third. Previously he was usually the second best German behind Raimund.
