“I have said it myself many times: I am not the new De Bruyne,” added Tijjani Reijnders.

Tijjani explained that he is a midfielder who can occupy a number of positions.

“I’m a versatile midfielder, but I mainly see myself as a number eight,” said Tijjani.

“A box-to-box player, operating between defense and attack. I like to be involved in building attacks and in the final phase,” added Tijjani.

However, Tijjani admits that he has the ability to occupy a good position to score goals.

“My greatest ability is often being in the right position to score goals. Usually, I get at least two good chances per match,” said Tijjani.

“I haven’t scored goals as often as I did at Milan, but I’m in the right position. That’s where it all started. I’m sure the goals will come again,” added Tijjani.
