Football Betting Investigation: Yandaş & Baltacı Arrested

The investigation into betting and match-fixing on green fields, carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, continues.

Based on the MASAK reports, bank movements and HTS records examined, an operation was carried out in 17 provinces centered in Istanbul on Friday.

39 suspects, 27 of whom were football players, were taken into custody and were sent to the courthouse after their procedures at the Istanbul Police Department.

The judgeship decided to impose judicial control measures on Ahmet Abdullah Çakmak, Eren Karadağ, Uğur Adem Gezer, Arda Türken, Muhammed Furkan Özhan, Yusuf Özdemir, Ensar Bilir, Oktay Aydin and Yücel Gürol.

Judicial control measures were taken against the suspects Abdulsamet Burak, Cengiz Demir, Erhan Çelenk, İsmail Kalburcu, Salih Malkoçoğlu, Samet Karabatak, Tolga Kalender, Uğur Kaan Yıldız, Gamze Neli Kaya and the senior class referee Zorbay Küçük.
