Fluminense beat Tijuca by 3 sets to 2, partials of 25/20, 23/25, 28/26, 16/25 and 15/5, in a game valid for the tenth round of the Women’s Superliga, this Monday (15/12), at the Tijuca Tênis Clube gym. With the result, Tricolor reached 16 points, in sixth place on the leaderboard.

The first set was led by Tricolor, who started the match aggressively on serve, making the opponent’s attack system difficult. Thus, Fluminense came out ahead on the scoreboard, but Tijuca equalized the match in the second half. Tricolor took the lead again after a good reaction at the end of the third set and the opponent tied the game again in the fourth half. In the tie-break, the block worked, Tricolor gained an advantage and the team won.

Central Lara was the best player of the match and received the Viva Vôlei award. Striker Amanda was Tricolor’s highest scorer, with 18 points, followed by opposite Ariane, with 16.

The team led by coach Marcos Miranda ends the first round of the competition next Sunday (21/12), against Brasília, in the 11th round of the competition. The match will be at 6:30 pm, at the Sesi Taguatinga gym, and will be broadcast on VBTV.
