Fourth place in the friendly tournament

The female cast of Flemish finished fourth in the second edition of the World Sevens Footballa fut7 tournament played in the United States that brings together the biggest teams in the country. This was the club’s first experience in the sport.

Rubro-Negro performed well in the group stage, with a victory over Kansas Citytied with Toronto and defeat for Tigers. However, in the semi-final, Meninas da Gávea lost to San Diego Wave by 5 to 1 and, subsequently, were surpassed by America 1-0 in the fight for third place.
