FIFA announced that this Tuesday all the winners of The Best awards will be announced, which recognize the best in the world of football from the last season.
The vote consists of four legs: coaches and captains of the 211 men’s and women’s teams that are members of FIFA, members of the press who cover football matches and fans who are registered on FIFA.com. Each of these four groups will have the same weight in the vote, that is, 25%.
The mother house of world football opened the voting period from Thursday, November 6 to November 28.

The 2024 edition had Aitana Bonmatí and Vinícius Jr. as winners of the main prizes. The Spanish midfielder has won the last two The Best for the best player and also the last three Ballon d’Ors from France Football magazine, marking an astonishing dominance.
For the Brazilian it was the opportunity to remove the thorn that left him not being chosen as the best in the Ballon d’Or (Rodri, from Manchester City and the Spanish national team, won it), despite a fantastic season crowned with titles in LaLiga, the Spanish Super Cup and the Champions League. That decision (which was leaked before the ceremony in Paris), led to a general disdain by Real Madrid to the awards, preventing any important member of the club from attending.
