Al Nassr closed the group stage of Champions 2 in Asia with a 5-1 home defeat to Al Zawra’a, from Iraq, on Wednesday afternoon, in a game marked by a great goal scored by the Portuguese João Félix (scored) and Cristiano Ronaldo (assisted).
The team coached by Jorge Jesus took the lead with a goal from Kingsley Coman, in the 12th minute, before Wesley – hypothesis for Benfica – make it 2-0, in the 19th minute.
Still in the first half, in the 29th minute, João Félix took a corner from the left side and Amri, in the area, headed it, making it 3-0.
Before the break, the great moment was 100% Portuguese, with Cristiano Ronaldo cutting the ball in front of two opponents, unmarking his compatriot João Félix, who made a “cap” to the goalkeeper, making it 4-0 in the 44th minute.
In the second half, Ibrahim reduced the Iraqi team’s deficit in the 50th minute, shortly before Coman, in the 56th minute, scored twice for the final 5-1 on the scoreboard.
Al Nassr, which was already qualified for the round of 16, closes group D with 18 points out of 18 possible, the result of six victories. Al Zawra’a, despite being defeated, qualified in second place, with nine points, the same as Istiqlol, third (they beat Goa 2-1). Goa came fourth and last, with no points.
