Fan Zone Fees: New Controversy Sparks Backlash

Fifa has put tickets on sale to access fan zones for the next Football World Cup in 2026.

Already announced as the edition of all excesses with exorbitant prices to attend the matches, access to certain fan zones will be paid at the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada (June 11 – July 19). According to The Times, for the first time in history, fans will have to pay money, particularly in New Jersey, if they wish to watch a match in the dedicated area.

It is also in this state that the final will take place, in New York more precisely. Access to the “FIFA Fan Festival” will cost 12.50 dollars (approximately 10.70 euros). Other host cities may decide for themselves to establish their own rates. Only New Jersey has so far communicated on this subject.
