Erdeven Tennis: Heymans & Martins Win Winter Tournament

Erdeven Winter Tournament

Gaspard Andlauer intended to register his name for the sixth time in the Erdeven winter tournament this Saturday. But it was his coach at TC Vannes, Hadrien Heymans, who won in a suspenseful final. Winner of the first set (6-4), Heymans let go in the second (1-6) before dominating the super tie-break (10-7). “It’s nice because I had to lose the last three finals here! There is always emotion when you play against a student of yours. It’s never easy but I’m happy to have gotten through it,” said Heymans.

On the women’s side, Lilo Martins assumed her status as favorite by beating Larmorienne Elvina Le Fouler with difficulty (4-6, 6-4, 10-8).
