Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office into the “betting on football” allegation, the statements of the suspects, including Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Foreign Relations and National Teams Administrative Director Buğra Cem İmamoğulları and Eyüpspor Vice President Fatih Kulaksız, were completed at the prosecutor’s office.

As a result of this evidence, it was stated in the statement that 7 suspects, who were in contact with 1 detained suspect against whom action was taken in the previous two operations and who were considered to have suspicious financial transactions in connection with the criminal allegations under investigation, and 6 suspects who bet on the Kasımpaşa-Samsunspor football match on October 26, 2024, in a way that would affect the result of the provincial competition, were identified.
