Enskede IK Mark Withdrawal – Sweden News

This week, Enskede IK presented a new club badge. The presentation attracted attention.

– Everyone has the right to an opinion, said Perniclas Bedow, board member of Enskede to Fotbollskanalen on Wednesday.

Today, Friday, Enskede announces that the club is stopping the implementation of the new club mark.

On its home page, Enskede writes that the club will “wait with the implementation of the new club mark until the annual meeting in March”.

At the annual meeting, members of the club can then make a decision on the matter.

“After the presentation, a motion has been received from members who, among other things, wish that the issue of the new club mark be dealt with at the next annual meeting. The board has also taken note of both positive and negative reactions to the proposed club mark,” the club writes on its website.

The club further writes that the board wishes to express its appreciation to the design firm Bedow Design who worked on developing the club brand.

Enskede adds that threats were made in connection with the presentation of the club badge.

“However, the board takes a serious view and distances itself from the threats that have been made,” writes the club.
