While OL are very close to finalizing Operation Endrick to launch their winter transfer window, FC Nantes could be the big winner in history.
Endrick arrives at OL. In today’s edition, L’Équipe confirms the imminent signing of the Brazilian striker from Real Madrid in Lyon, who will cover half of the player’s emoluments, estimated at more than 400,000 euros gross monthly. This will be done in the form of compensation of around one million euros to be paid to the Spanish club, while no purchase option will be included in the transaction.
Endrick not before January 11th at least?
Everything should be signed before tomorrow evening and the ex-Palmeiras prodigy will be able to officially commit on January 1st. He is expected a few days earlier in Lyon to train and Les Gones supporters will probably have to wait for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France in Lille, on January 11 at 9 p.m., or the reception of Brest at Groupama Stadium, on the 18th, to see their new number 9 in action.
OL releases Munteanu… FC Nantes in contention!
The arrival of Endrick could benefit FC Nantes. Yesterday, Ekrem Konur confirmed the Canaries’ interest in Louis Munteanu… but also that of OL. Except that the Endrick operation was completed just after, which may suggest that Lyon gave up on the track leading to the Romanian striker followed by Stade Rennais this summer. If FC Nantes therefore remains in the running, with one less competitor, there are other rivals to rule out: Betis, Girona and Valencia, who are monitoring its situation closely.
