22-year-old Elias Mohammad, who prefers to play as an outside midfielder but can also play as a forward, represented ADO Den Haag in the Dutch second division earlier this year. Now he is ready for four years in Falkenbergs FF.
Elias Mohammad received his football upbringing in Jarlabergs IF, Hammarby IF and Hammarby TFF before joining ADO Den Haag at the beginning of August last year. There were ten games in the second division before he left the club a year later. Before that, he scored seven goals and seven assists in 39 games for Hammarby TFF in Ettan Norra 2023-2024. Now he is ready for four years in Falkenbergs FF.
– It feels very good to come to FFF. It is a professional operation that wants something with the club and works hard for it, which makes it safe for players and clear what needs to be done, says Elias Mohammad.
He has also played as a striker during his career but is most comfortable as a left winger and can play on both sides.
– I would describe myself as an offensive and technical player with speed and a good eye for the game. I am also a hard working player. My biggest strength is my speed, I think. I hope I can contribute with my creative play, create chances and play football that is fun to watch. During my time at the club, I want to continue developing day by day and show what I’m for, says the 22-year-old.
FFF’s sporting director Andreas Jankevics is happy to be able to welcome the men’s team’s second new acquisition to the club for next season.
– Elias comes from a time as a professional abroad, which was a tough experience for him as a young individual. We believe that our environment suits Elias to get a fresh start in his career. It is a player who has come up on our radar and about whom we have received very good words. Our positive image of him was reinforced when he was here and became familiar with our environment. Elias is an offensively skilled player who will hopefully bring a lot to the team with his top quality, says Andreas Jankevics.
Gulvitt finished in a fine fifth place in the comeback season in elite football. Elias Mohammad believes that FFF has a good chance of doing well in 2026 as well.
– I think the club can have a new, strong season. It feels like we have a good squad. What I’m looking forward to most next season is to run out with the FFF shirt in the home arena in front of the fans and start the season, says Elias Mohammad.
He has not only received a good impression of the association, but also of Falkenberg as a city.
– I’ve driven around a bit and looked at the city. It seems to be a cozy city and the people who live here feel very supportive and nice, says the winger.
Welcome, Elias!
