Edwards: Wolves Record & Spurs Win – NBA Highlights

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Anthony Edwards scored 32 points to become Minnesota’s all-time leader in games with 30 or more points, Julius Randle added 22 points, 12 assists and six rebounds, and the Timberwolves beat the San Antonio Spurs 125-112 in the fourth quarter on Sunday night for the victory.

Donte DiVincenzo scored 18 points and Naz Reid added 15 for Minnesota, which won 2-0 at home over the weekend after losing three in a row on the road. The Spurs fell to 5-2 without Victor Wembanyama, who missed another game due to a left calf strain.

The Wolves outscored San Antonio 36-19 in the fourth quarter of the teams’ first meeting of the season.

De’Aaron Fox led the Spurs with 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting.

Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson each added 22 points for the Spurs, who finished 2-2 on their four-game road trip.

Edwards was 7 of 9 for 16 points in the first half, but also committed six turnovers, including five in the first quarter, and received his third technical foul in the last four games.
