British journalist Pete O’Rourke from Football Insider (almost 157 thousand followers on the X network) published a report on Monday that West Ham made an offer to Pilsen for Rafio Durosinmi (22) in the amount of 12 million pounds (approximately 336 million crowns). iSport sources confirm that an offer from the club, where Czech midfielder Tomáš Souček works, has arrived in the west of Bohemia, the server also brought the news on Tuesday infotbal.cz.
The real amount that the London club is willing to spend on the Nigerian striker, but it should be significantly lower than the one that is written about in England, can be estimated at 5 million euros (125 million crowns). Viktoria does not want to let its important player go under the price, the current amount from West Ham is supposed to be unacceptable for the club management. Durosinmi is on the list of possible reinforcements at West Ham, but at this moment he should not be an absolute priority, there are other players on the list before him.
The Nigerian attacker has a valid contract in Pilsen until the summer of 2027. The club helped him overcome a serious injury and subsequent knee surgery, which caused him to lose an almost complete transfer to Frankfurt two years ago. In the summer, he expressed an interest in moving to a foreign competition, the Premier League is logically appealing to him. He has a promise from the management of Pilsen that they will release him to the elite competition, however, it must be an adequate offer.
The tall and goal-scoring forward is also rumored to be interested in other clubs – Benfica Lisbon led by José Mourinho, Lazio Rome, against whom he scored a goal and an assist in the Europa League round of 16 matches in March, other clubs from the Premier League and the lower Championship are also watching him.
Durosinmi scored 7 goals in 18 league matches in the busy season, added four more goals on the European stage and two in the domestic MOL Cup. When the match suits him, like his colleague from the attack Prince Adu, he is difficult to maintain and his quality exceeds the level of the Czech league.
