Botswana faces the Democratic Republic of Congo this Tuesday, December 30, on the third and final day of the CAN 2025 group stage.
Semi-finalists of the last edition in Ivory Coast, the Congolese are among the outsiders of this competition. The team, close to qualifying for its first World Cup, made its debut at the African Cup of Nations. The Leopards are in a good position to qualify for the round of 16. A win or draw against Botswana would secure them a place. The Congolese currently occupy 2e place in group D, thanks to a victory and a draw.
