After a difficult start to the match against Skellefteå, the home crowd suddenly had reason to cheer during a power break.

Then came the news that the faithful Didrik Strömberg will stay in Timrå over the 2027/2028 season. It was a matter of course, he tells TV4.

– This is my club, this is where I want to be. I enjoy myself incredibly well and have family and everything here. It felt like a matter of course and we are happy about that – me and the whole family, says Strömberg.

At Timrås homepage says Henrik Zetterberg from Timrå’s sports council.

– Didrik does not need a further introduction, what we know is that we have secured two years with a very stable back with good leadership on and off the ice, he says.

Skellefteå took the lead

On the ice, Strömberg and Timrå had no luck in the first period against Skellefteå.

Scorer and goal king Oscar Lindberg scored his 21st goal of the season and the away team took a 2-0 lead in the first period.
