Schröder came off the bench after his hip injury. The 32-year-old was his team’s most successful thrower with 17 points in 25 minutes, along with DeMar DeRozan and Precious Achiuwa. There was also a rebound and three assists from the point guard.
However, the Kings are facing another loss: top scorer Zach LaVine injured his ankle in the second quarter. Julius Randle was the top scorer for the Wolves with 24 points. World and European champion Schröder last played on November 24th.
For the Kings it was the 20th defeat of the season in the 26th game. It is the worst win rate since the 2008/09 season. The team from California is only in second-to-last place in the Western Conference.
