Curry Surpasses Jordan: New Record!

37-year-old superstar Stephen Curry continues to break records on the NBA stage despite his advanced age. Curry, who scored 39 points in the 127-120 loss against Minnesota on Saturday, played with 48 points in the match against Portland on Sunday night, in which the Golden State Warriors lost 136-131.

With this performance, the Warriors’ point guard became the player to score more than 40 points after the age of 30 in NBA history. Curry reached this level for the 45th time in his career, surpassing Michael Jordan’s record.

The experienced star broke the NBA record by hitting 12 three-pointers in a game for the fifth time in his career against Portland. With this performance, Curry is ahead of Klay Thompson, who achieved this feat three times, as well as Damian Lillard, Zach LaVine, Kobe Bryant, Donyell Marshall and Keegan Murray, who achieved this feat once each.

On the other hand, Curry increased the number of games in which he made at least 10 three-pointers to 28 in his career. While this feat has been seen 112 times in total in NBA history, Curry alone has achieved nearly a quarter of these games.
