The ‘Iga SibionTech Foundation’, established in July by the world’s second-ranked Iga Sibiontech (Poland), awarded scholarships to five young Polish athletes as part of a pilot scholarship project in Warsaw, Poland, on Tuesday, December 16.

Candidates received applications for a month from September 15th through the foundation’s website, and the Civil Tech team directly reviewed the documents and selected them (5 people this time).

The junior athletes receiving scholarships were Ignacy Andrzejczak (110m hurdles in track and field), Viktor Humolski (swimming), Livia Kubin (speed skating), Jan Pira (golf), and Olivia Sivicka (tennis). They can receive financial support as well as expert help for 12 months from January 2026.

The foundation aims to continue implementing this program in the future, and will continue to improve it based on this year’s pilot experience.
