Christmas Jux Tournament 2023: Festive Highlights

This took place last Friday, December 5th 23rd Christmas Joke Tournament the badminton department of TuS Neuenrade. In a festive atmosphere, young people between the ages of 10 and 16 competed in a colorful mix of games that required not only sporting ability, but also skill and team spirit.

A variety of disciplines were organized such as: Sitting badminton, round running, double discipline, badminton throw and a creative one Badminton-Course. Participants were able to collect points at each station, so that excitement and motivation were guaranteed until the end.

We played, laughed and fought for over three hours.

Finally, the eagerly awaited event followed Award ceremony. The top three winners were honored with small prizes and certificates:

  1. Sebastian Heinitz – 79 points
  2. Theo Wiesemann – 69 points
  3. Athavan Rajagopal & Finn Schneider – 67 points

Occupied just behind Oleksander Pipia (64 points) and Andrei Rakoczi (63 points) the other places.

As a special surprise, each participant was treated to a delicious treat Mare guy be happy. The subsequent meal together was the perfect end to a happy and successful tournament day.

The badminton department draws a consistently positive conclusion: “The Christmas joke tournament was also a complete success this year!” said the organizers. We are already looking forward to the next edition in 2026, when the motto will again be: collect points, have fun and celebrate together.
