Champions Cup: Launch & Details

In a new push by FIFA to grow women’s competitions, last March 2025, the council of world football’s governing body announced that two competitions would be launched: the Club World Cup, which will start in 2028, and the Champions Cup, that will open the curtain at the end of January 2026. Less than a month for four teams to seek to make history.

The idea is that the champions of the six continents face each other to have a world winner. The best club in the world every year. At its premiere, there will be no Spanish representative, since it was the Arsenal the one who took the Champions in Lisbon.

The semifinals of the tournament will be played on Wednesday, February 28. At 1:30 p.m., the Gotham by Esther González and the coach Juan Carlos Amoróswill face Corinthians. Starting at 7:00 p.m. it will be the turn of the Mariona and Codina Arsenal against the Moroccan ASFAR. Both matches will be played in Brentford. Meanwhile, on February 1, third and fourth place will be played at the Emirates Stadium. Starting at 7:00 p.m. on the same stage, the grand final.
