“I feel like they were expecting me to have a bad game,” Lamb said. “He was quiet all season and was averaging 100 yards, 110, doing crazy things, but the one opportunity he had, he didn’t live up to his expectations. And I think for us to come out victorious, it wasn’t just his fault. Once one of us goes out, the defensive coordinators are very smart. It’s not like I go out and they keep playing the same coverage. I mean, they’re going to tilt the coverage toward him. They’re going to do different things. People are smart. People understand the “American football. I don’t know why it’s like that, I don’t know, people act like it’s night and day. They also have jobs there, they don’t want to get fired and they know that if they let G spin on his own, someone is going to get fired.”
